I get the marketing play theory. I thought the same for Hogwarts Legacy. But this is not like that. I can tell because I've been having this as my nr1 most wished for game for years ever since the first demo. Wukong is my favourite character of all time and this looked amazing. Watched the demo over and over. I can tell you there wasn't a lot of mainstream hype for this game. There were some dark souls fans excited for it. The studio is even fighting to fend off the tencent invasion. This is just a genuine passion project. And it's the spotlight Wukong has deserved for so long. The mythical character that's never really been done right in the gaming space.

Have to say Well done to Game Science. I fully support them and Black Myth WU KONG is on my wish list. Looking forward to play it.

Just remember- At this point they are not trying to win over Game Science or gamers. This is a warning to other publishers. If they do not fall in line with DEI and paying for these extortion fees, they will make enemies with the entire gaming journo industry.
